Payments can fail for a variety of reasons. Most often this happens if we are unable to verify the account you are making a payment to or if the payment information was incomplete or incorrect. Something just as simple as a typo could do it. A payment will also fail if:
- the payment violated our Terms of Service
- the payment made to an account we are no longer able to process payments for
- the payment was declined by the card issuer
- the payer had insufficient funds
- the payment card has expired
- the administrator of the account is not based in the United States
- our risk team has flagged your transaction
If your payment does not fall into any of these categories, feel free to contact customer support for further assistance.
